+ 20 lbs
Feeling big and this is when I start to feel uncomfortable. I am at quite a bit less weight wise than I have been with my other pregnancies. I attribute it to less meat and more greens. I would say less sugar, but this last month I've been horrible about sweets and treats. I'm eating more meat protein lately too- just because I want to make sure I'm getting enough for the baby- but my primary protein sources are still from other sources. I'm not worried for baby though, since he seems to be growing fine and I can tell that where I'm thinner is through the hips and thighs. Most of my maternity pants are big and baggy still.
I had my second ultra sound and my placenta has moved up and out of the way, as expected. Baby still looked healthy and good.
Heart burn comes frequently now. New this pregnancy is that my left ankle hurts, especially when I bend over. I get this sort of sharp, tingly feeling. I'm pretty sure its just a nerve thing or something. I did get a little concerned about blood clots, since I had a neighbor who had those in her last pregnancy- but I went online and read about the symptoms and I don't think it matches. I'll mention it at my next midwife appointment though.
Yesterday I started pulling out baby things and boy baby clothes. WOW! It's been a long time since I've looked at those. It was fun to remember my boys when they were tiny and my favorite things they used to wear. I'll have to get a few things here and there, but I'm surprised how much I still have that is in good condition. I'm excited for another boy. I love my Naomi girl, and I'm sad I won't get to use all my cute girl stuff again, but she is a feisty one. Jake and I are both predicting Titus with be our most chill kid.
The "nursery" is already blue- but I"m thinking of adding some gray, navy and orange stripes or some kind of accents.
